EnterpriseLink® is Presentation Integration
and Componentization software. Part of the Micro Focus Modernization suite of tools,
EnterpriseLink allows you to
integrate IBM mainframe, midrange or
mainframe-migrated applications with other data
sources and then deploy as a Web application
(accessible from a browser) or as a Web Service
(accessible from Microsoft .NET or other Web
Server client application). EnterpriseLink is an important part of Micro Focus
Enterprise Cloud Services. Building upon its strength
in Web-enabling and Web Service-enabling Micro Focus Enterprise Server applications for
on-site deployment, now EnterpriseLink SaaS-enables enterprise COBOL applications
deployed to the cloud computing (infrastructure utility) platforms. EnterpriseLink
makes it possible to deploy Web 2.0 or RESTful, Asynchronous JavaScript with XML (AJAX),
Rich Internet Applications (RIA) on top of COBOL application. The EnterpriseLink Cluster Server,
long used by EnterpriseLink customers to bring scalability and availability to their Web and
mainframe systems, now provides elasticity to applications running under Enterprise
Cloud Services. |
